When I heard the news that my classmate Billy passed away, I got paranoid. What if it happens to me? What about my daughter? What would she get? Nothing. Nil. Zero. That’s when I started thinking of getting a life insurance for myself. At least when I die, she’ll get something for her self.
I asked a friend who works in one of the life insurance companies here in my place and she suggested of getting a term life insurance instead. Honestly, I have no idea about it. I, then, made a research and as what I have understood is that you pay premium for a period of time (say 1 to 30 years) and if you die during that time, the insurance goes to the person you choose to have it. Okay! Got it! Out of curiosity, I’ve checked out and requested for life insurance quotes. I might discuss it with my husband one of these days…
