As we were approaching James Gordon Hosp at around 11pm last night, some roads were already flooded, but we had to go out and rush my daughter to the hospital coz she had a 39.4 temp.
The rain stopped for a while so we thought it was already okay. But around 5am this morning, we heard noise from outside, people saving their stuff. When my mom checked down our house, the flood has already reached her knee.
I wasn’t able to capture the water going high coz there was a power interruption at the same time, and my daughter had still high fever.
This morning when I got up, I looked from outside our window and here’s what I saw, right in front our house:
I heard some rescuing team doing rounds this morning. We were told that it was aired on TV but we missed it coz the power just came back before lunch. Some areas in barangay Sta. Rita are still flooded up to waistline and above head.
Here’s another photo I took this morning, the vacant lot just next to our house.
Not sure if the tables I saw floating outside were ping pong tables.
Nabanggit nga ng panganay ko, wala silang pasok at baha sa school, buti na lang sa Gordon Heights na nakatira family ko at di binabaha…Sta Rita pa rin pala kayo?
LordCM’s last blog post..Camera Shy (re-post)…
Yup, suspended classes. Oo, Sta. Rita pa din, dun sa dati pa din. Sa Amapola daw lagpas tao yata ang baha.
