My husband is a chain smoker but I am glad he hasn’t tried any of the cigars like Dutch Master. From time to time I remind him to cut down but never stopped him. Not that I am not concerned but I guess he’s already old enough to know what is good and bad, and what is too much for him.
In fact, we had an agreement even before we got married that if, we feel that we need to go out with friends, we don’t have to ask for permission but at least be responsible to inform each other that we are going out. That way if one of us had to stay out so late, we won’t worry and start calling our friends that could create embarrassment.
That deal still works well for us. Even now that we are miles away, we still practice that.
