Our high school batch has generated an amount of money enough to donate school shoes, socks and umbrellas this month just in time for the school opening.

We went there first to check on what they need, had a small salo-salo and bond with them. Then, we went back the following week with the school stuff with us already. These are children who were physically and sexually abused, age 2-17 years old.

A couple of them are siblings who were literally abandoned at the doorstep of the Center.

I really feel sorry for them. Two of the girls are just my youngest’s age and I can’t imagine they have been through a traumatic experience.

Here’s hoping that these pairs of shoes will help them reach their goals and dreams. Our batch has decided to continuously visit, support and check on them regularly. We plan to donate foam mattresses in the next quarter to make sure each one of them gets a peaceful sleep.

I am happy to share my adventures as I walk through motherhood and have to do most things on my own while my husband works miles away from us. Turning my passion into a profitable venture is another thing.
Authoring and managing this personal blog developed my social media awareness over the years.
From being an ex-OFW to doing what I am good at in the comfort of my own home – while taking good care of my 3 wonderful kids, I hope that people see me as a great inspiration when it comes to pursuing my passion and turning it into a profitable venture.
A giant leap like this is such a challenging journey but indeed is rewarding. A few bumps along this whole journey did not stop me from being the best version of myself.
Ang galing naman ng naisip ng batch nyo, instead of having a reunion party, you think of something else instead, for a good cause.
Hi sis Willa! Actually we had our reunion party last April but before that we managed to raise funds for this project.
