    Me And My Little Girl

On the day of the wedding, I decided to just wear the dress that my sister in law has ordered for me. Too bad, again, I don’t have good photos with me. Derrick was so busy taking his part, taking care of Deye haha! It was me who took some important parts on the day of the wedding itself. I did the introduction at the Church and 2nd reading. It was so funny! The moment my little girl saw me at the podium standing, she screamed for “Mama koooooooooooo!” LOL! Everyone was looking at her haha! Anyway, here are the two photos that I was able to save in my laptop. Yeah, a laptop heehee! Hubby’s pasalubong for me…

    The Night Before The Wedding

It’s my first time to witness and become a part of a typical Indian (Goan) Catholic Wedding. Everything was the same (well, almost) except for the rituals/tradition that they do before and after the wedding. A night before the wedding was this coconut ritual (aside from the girls from our side talking about best weight loss pills LOL!)

According to Goan traditions, the bride and groom are required to bathe in coconut water on the night prior to the wedding. Relatives and friends join in to pour coconut water over the bride and groom, as per their custom. Afterwards, dinner is served to all. The outfits worn during the coconut water bath have to be given away and not kept in the house. After this bath, the bride and groom are not supposed to leave the house till they leave for the church.

Derrick and I did it together for his sister and I was the one to lead her to the bathroom after the coconut bathing. Sorry but I don’t have the photos with me. Promise I’ll post it here when I get ’em.

    It’s Good To Be Home

No, I’ve not been to vegas, wish I had haha! We’ve been to India and met with the King – of my heart LOL! And we’re supposed to stay there for a couple of months, but as always, docs and other immig probs hindered. And that’s another story to tell. For now, let me just get back to my usual blogging – at home.

Anyway, we came back on the 13th but was not in the mood to get online as yet. I’m still on a vacation mood I guess. Would you believe I haven’t done unpacking yet?

Now, let me check what PayU2Blog has kept for me. Teehee! Later!
