Proactiv Deep Cleansing Wash

It’s mid year. School opens. Second quarter is about to end. Management review. Stressed out about all these things including the daunting deadlines. I noticed recently that my complexion seems to be stressing out along with me, erupting fat deposits, white heads, warts and acne cysts. It’s not my imagination. I see them clearly. I panicked and Googled what seem to be causing it.

“When you already have acne and you get into a stressful situation, that seems to be when your acne really flares up.”

Ahuh! I get it. That’s why! I suddenly remember the time when I got too stressed out back in college days. Plus the fact that  acne is so common when you are a teener that it’s considered a normal part of puberty.

Acne is a condition of the skin that shows up as different types of bumps. These bumps can be blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, or cysts. Teens get acne because of the hormonal changes that come with puberty. If your parents had acne as teens, it’s more likely that you will, too. The good news is that, for most people, acne goes away almost completely by the time they are out of their teens.

I tried everything. I washed my face with tea. Scrubbed my face with fresh calamansi. Can you actually imagine that burning feeling? I also tried different facial bars advertised on TV. Nothing worked till I completely gave up and settled with water.

Well, those days were different. Those were “no make-up” days for me. So imagine how easy it was to fully entrust it with water. I really wish that Proactiv Deep Cleansing Wash has already existed back then. That even if I pick my pimples when I get stressed, there will always be a solution to it without having to spend so much.

Proactiv Deep Cleansing Wash

It is specially formulated with salicylic acid to clear acne blemishes on the face and body. It also contains gentle botanicals to soothe and soften while fine exfoliating beads remove dull skin cells.

Directions to use (for face):

1) Pour a small amount and apply to dampened skin.
2) Rinse with warm water.
3) Pat dry

You’ll be surprised with the refreshing feeling that it gives you right after wash. The minty feeling that everyone would love to have especially under this bad humid weather. Here’s hoping that it will at least lessen the unwanted pimples that I have been trying to get rid of for the past weeks.

And the best part is Proactiv even dares you to try it risk free – you get your money back if you’re not happy. If you are not absolutely happy with your kit, simply return the complete pack with your official receipt within 21 days for the 30-day kit and 25 days for the 60 day kit of purchase for a complete refund. Sounds good huh? For a working mom like me who is always on the go stretching her budget, it really sounds like a fair deal.

Hmmmm… I guess it’s time to get Proactiv!
