If rearing up a child is as easy as buying candies and customizing gifts like maker’s mark cigars, there’d be no bitterness in every mom’s heart, no questions and doubts if she’s raising her children well.
In my case, I have to do it all alone because of the distance and set-up that my husband and I face. When I see today’s generation, I get more nervous and ask myself “How do I manage when the reach adolescence, and if the set-up is still the same?”
I also wish that raising a child is also as simple as providing them food, clothing and shelter. Then I’d be fine… there may be struggles along the way but I’m sure they’d be as bearable as a headache.
