So I challenged my girls and their cousin Aikhel, who stays with us, to do a school baon challenge, and they gladly agreed. Whatever is left from the daily school baon “must be deposited” in the coin banks that I bought for them.
The eldest gets Php70 a day, while Ishi and Aikhel get Php50 a day. Fair enough to buy a bottle of drink and biscuits for breaks in between their stay in school. Besides, they sometimes bring food baon with them. With this challenge, I also had to remind them daily that they should not skip meals at school. Php10 a day is fine if they really want to spend.
Looks like they are all doing well. Just because they have been very cooperative with me and the money challenge, I’ve rewarded them with these pillows yesterday. Yep, including our baby boy, Nantutuy! Hahaha!
Good job, kids! Let’s see how far this challenge would go.
