Starting school and a new grade is exciting but can be as stressful as giving birth, too! Last week, we went to National Bookstore and purchased the required school supplies given by the school. That included their art kit that has typewriting paper, construction paper, crayons, water color and everything else that are usually used in artworks.
That same day, I printed out her notebook labels and let her participate in the preparation.
Being the fan of Hello Kitty, I bought Hello Kitty notebooks for her and made matching labels.
I’m really glad that plastic covered notebooks are now available, otherwise it’ll be another struggle.
School supplies are never complete without the crayons.
Fortunately, I didn’t have to buy her a lunch kit. The above set pictured was a gift from her last birthday.
Her grooming kit which is left in the school and given back at the end of each school year. Grooming kit has soap, hand sanitizer, comb & mirror, wet wipes, baby powder, towelette, extra clothes and dental kit/plastic cup or tumbler. I guess we were lucky to get this dental kit in favor of my love for Hello Kitty.
Her Barbie school bag with the supplies above minus the books that are still to be covered with plastic.
Yep, I guess we’re all set for next week!! Oh by the way, I opted not to mention and make a list of the amount spent buying the above items. I won’t be surprised if in the future, things like these will be as costly as the highest annuity rates!
