We were watching a movie last week when Deye insisted of me getting her a pair of riding boots. I didn’t see the scene where she saw a kid wearing one but I figured she saw it from that movie only. I had to explain her that riding boots are not for everyday use, but she didn’t understand still. This scenario also happened when I took her to the local market with me and saw a pair of winter boots. She didn’t talk to me for a while until we got home coz I didn’t give in. I stood firm when I said NO, it’s not appropriate to wear a pair of winter boots when you are in the Philippines.
