I had no idea what sonogram was until the day I got pregnant. When I saw two pink strips, I immediately called my OB and scheduled an appointment the next day, first thing in the morning. She mentioned that we’d have a sonogram done to be sure that I was really expecting. I was like huh? What was that but then I felt shy, if I ask she might think I am stupid or ignorant. I just said okay and researched that word online:
Sonogram > A diagnostic medical image created using ultrasound echo (sonographic) equipment.
Since that day I wondered and told myself, are there ultrasound schools and sonography schools as well? If there are, what would be their profession called as soon as they graduated from the said schools? An ultrasound technician?
Ah! Whatever!
