Learning to play the drums is better done while young because the absorption is much better. If you search Youtube videos, you can see kids as young as 2 years old banging on the drum set and they have got the rhythm to make it really good when they continue in developing such raw talent. Take advantage and save on drum for kids from guitar center if you want your kid to learn how to play drums. Who knows, maybe he (or she) will be the future drummer of the future successful band. Starting young will make the talent like second skin.
