She now speaks Tagalog well. 3 days ago, I bought her a new pair of slippers. I wasn’t sure of the size coz it was bigger than the usual I’m buying. Since I really liked the style, I bought it. Anyway, bigger size is better. She grows real fast so there…
When I reached home, gave her a little surprise, covered her eyes and let her opened the bag. She smiled, tried it on and said “thank you mama!”.
She decided to wear it inside the house for like hours right after I gave it to her. I was watching her walk, and told my mom who was sitting beside me “Ang ganda pala sa paa nya nung slippers kahit medyo mahaba pa”. Mom agreed and said “Ikaw lang naman ang mahilig bumili ng sakto”.
Guess what my little girl said when she overheard our conversation?
She first laughed, covering her mouth like a young lady and said “Bagay ba ha Mama?”
