Subic, Philippines (May 10, 2023) – Connected Women Subic joined in the Connected Women Meetups’ 5th-anniversary celebration in a remarkable meetup held at the vibrant Kairos House of Blends in Subic. The event brought together a diverse group of passionate individuals, entrepreneurs, and freelancers to connect, network, and celebrate the power of meaningful relationships.
Inspired by Connected Women’s advocacy and one of their amazing partners, Asian Vision, one of the premier internet service providers in Zambales, the meetup’s theme revolved around the idea of building connections. Aptly entitled, “How is Your Connection Speed,” the speed networking activity became the highlight of the evening. As in previous meetups, the activity was highly interactive and insightful as it allowed the participants to instantly build meaningful relationships and explore potential collaborations.
Participants were encouraged to ask thought-provoking questions such as their passions in work or business, the support they need to enhance their careers, the skills they excel in that could benefit others, and their goals for personal and professional growth. The activity sparked engaging conversations and paved the way for genuine connections to be formed.
The event was filled with excitement as several contests took place throughout the evening.
Chef Ana Carlos, Jacqui Santander, and Carmela emerged as the winners of the “How is Your Connection Speed?” activity, earning themselves day tour passes to the esteemed Whiterock Beach Hotel + Waterpark. The winners were thrilled to have the opportunity to unwind and enjoy the hotel’s luxurious amenities.
The fun continued with co-host Mic Miravalles, who organized a lively “Bring Me contest.” Four lucky ladies were awarded gift certificates courtesy of Skin Desyre San Marcelino branch, owned by the generous and supportive Mercy Borromeo. The atmosphere was electric as Jerome of Asian Vision also joined in the festivities, adding to the excitement by giving away additional prizes.
Chef Ana Carlos of Culinary Creations by Chef Ana likewise added more fun to the event with another Bring Me contest “with a twist”, where more than 10 lucky winners walked away with her signature baked goods. The scrumptious treats added a delectable touch to the evening, leaving attendees satisfied and smiling.
Diagram Advertising, the official ad partner of Connected Women Subic, also made their presence felt by distributing CW Subic-branded car stickers to the community. This gesture reinforced the strong bond and camaraderie shared among the Connected Women Subic members.
“We are truly grateful to everyone who made this meetup a resounding success,” said Jen Cajucom, the host of Connected Women Subic. “The gloomy weather apparently did not stop our community to come together to empower and learn from one another.”
“It was a fun-filled and insightful event, showcasing the power of building connections and fostering collaboration. We are proud to celebrate Connected Women Meetups’ 5th anniversary and look forward to many more exciting endeavors in the future.”
Connected Women Subic continues to serve as a supportive platform for women in business, professionals, and freelancers, empowering them to thrive in their respective fields through networking, knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and technology.
