I’m going mad!!! Who wouldn’t? Last week I bought a tin of 1.6kgs Progress Gold 3 and it was P904. Just few hours ago I bought another one (I don’t wanna experience looking for this milk all over Gapo again, that’s why I always keep at least one extra. I don’t hoard, naniniguro lang hehe!) and the price has increased to P917. Are you kidding me? Hah!
Believe me when they changed the packaging, there was a peso increase too! Goodness! But that was okay, you won’t even feel it. But this time I was shocked! From P904 to P917. And this milk lasts for less than a week only. Ahuhuhuhu! Now I am thinking of switching my daughter’s milk to Nido. Nido tastes good anyway. So, I’m sure she wouldn’t mind.
Well, I’m still thinking… Whatcha think?
P.S.
*sigh*

I really am hoping for that hahaha!
ouch! mahal! yeah try mo switch sa ibang gatas.. i don’t know sa pinas if it’s influenced by commercials or what.. but here, nung nag-18 months old yata si louna or even earlier, her pedia adviced us to switch to normal milk kasi she could take those vitamins daw sa food intake nya.. so from then on, she’s taking the same milk as what we have at home.. pasteurized fresh milk lang.. i pay like an equivalent of 300 pesos siguro for a week supply.. para sa aming tatlo na yun ha.. that’s why i always find it expensive there.. dito kasi, yung basic commodity is still affordable..

sobrang mahal naman niyan. the price of milk for infants was around P700, yung pinakamagandang klase na yun. and now its P900 for a toddler? how much na lang ang milk for infants ngayon – diba yun ang pinakamahal sa mga gatas?

@ Analyse, yup I’m really thinking about it.
My middle child, Raia, is now taking Nido fortified. I had too switch her because my youngest child is taking Gain Plus like Raia used too. So doble gastos but I don’t want Raia to feel neglected, heheh. At four she still takes milk from the bottle.
My tip is to try small amounts first of any brand, and see how your daughter reacts to it. Some moms mixed the present formula to the new one para daw hindi mabigla. I tried comparing the brands before. Medyo mahirap pero bottomline is wala naman sila halos pinagkaiba. In my experience, some brands makes my kids constipated.

Thanks for your tips! Maybe I’ll try giving her both, hanggang masanay na mawala yung isa….
Enfamil was only P175 back then ha ha

Hahaha! Pero that time syempre mahal na yun.
I share with your sentiments and I feel you. That’s the same milk my youngest is having. And yes, it only lasts for a few days. That’s why I try to balance her food intake by giving some solids too, so she would not depend highly on milk for her nourishment.
