When SAHMone Speaks Meme #14

This week’s question is “What made you decide to be on your current mommy status (WAHM, SAHM, Working Mom)? Was it hard for you?” Going back to the Corporate World was my personal decision, which is actually against to my husband’s will. He prefers that I keep an eye to our kids and be a 24/7 mom to them.

I worked from home for a year but I just thought it’s not for me. Self-worth if you may call it but behind this reason is another reason. I am just anticipating the possibility of the what ifs that might come our way. What if my husband loses his job? How do we feed our children and survive? What if one day we realized that this marriage is not going to work, how do I survive without him and raise the kids? Call me negative thinker but these things are possible. So to answer the question, well, maybe, aside from the self-worth that I just mentioned, I am sort of thinking about the future. Of course, knowing that my kids will be taken care by somebody else whom we do not personally know is hardest, but sacrifice is the word for it.
