Ahuh! This blog is hungry for blog contests! Hahaha! Here’s a preview of WWW Observer’s contest for this summer:
In this contest, you have to rake in “points” to win. It’s not a raffle contest, so you will only win if you participate well. The people who gather the biggest number of points will win. There will be three winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), and each will receive a bunch of prizes! How do you earn points? Well… let’s see now…
Joining the contest will earn you 5 points, that’s to “motivate” you. Simply leave a comment on this post to join. I’ll be looking for “Hey, I’m joining the contest!” in your comment, so don’t forget to put that.
Subscribing via e-mail will earn you 50 points! That’s a big number of points, guys. If you have already subscribed, leave a comment saying “I’ve subscribed to the feeds via e-mail”. Make sure that the e-mail you use in the comment is the one you used for subscribing. I’m going to check it! Click here to subscribe.
Leaving a comment DURING THE CONTEST will earn you 1 point per comment. Come on guys, it’s too easy to leave a comment. Don’t complain about the number of points now… but hey, I’m not going to accept comments like “nice post” or some other spammy one-liners.
Spreading the heat will earn you 20 points. You don’t run around the town holding your wireless heater, you tell the people around you about The WWW Observer and this summer contest! Just publish a post about TW3O and this contest and you’ll get 20 points. Sounds easy, huh?
Answering the weekly riddle will earn you 15 points. The riddle will only be available via RSS feeds, so make sure that you’re subscribed to get the chance to answer the riddles. The riddles will be about The WWW Observer, so you better make use of that search bar there. The first five (5) people who send in the correct answer via the contact form will get the points. I will send you an e-mail to let you know if you are one of the first five or not. There will only be 4 riddles during the entire contest.
