Last Saturday, I accompanied my mom to withdraw the remittance that my brother sends them every month. We got in the bank at exactly 9am, filled up the withdrawal slip, went to the long queue and when it was finally my turn, just right after I handed the bankbook over to the Teller, the bank went offline! What a great day to start off with right? We waited for like 20 minutes but unfortunately, it was announced later that it could take half a day for the bank to resume online.
So, we thought, we’d come back later after I finished with my other errands. We, first went to Pandayan Bookstore to buy some materials for Deye’s puppet school project. Then bought our gifts for my nephew who’s celebrating his birthday that afternoon. I told my mom, I don’t wanna spend some more time waiting for the bank, so we decided to go home. As soon as I paid our purchases, it started to rain heavily. We had no choice but to pass our time at KFC! Yey! Mom’s treat! While waiting for our main course, KFC’s spoonfuls were served first! Hmmm, we’re going backward huh!?
Few minutes later, our orders were served. We left the place an hour later and headed home! That’s how my few hours went that Saturday morning with my mom!
