I couldn’t help but to compare how children before enjoyed their childhood than how children of  today pass their time. When I was Deye’s age, I normally spend my time at the toy section whenever my mom takes me to the mall in Manila. Yesterday, while buying a new desk mirror for the bedroom, she spent most of her time choosing Disney nail art stickers and did not leave me alone until she got a packet.

I observed these past days and still am that she checks herself in the mirror almost every hour. Somehow, it makes me smile seeing how independent my daughter has become, that she doesn’t need my help if she just needs to comb her hair. But on the other hand, it worries me. I think that my daughter is growing up too fast!

The best thing I could do now is enjoy every MOMent while I still can. While I still can hug and kiss her even in public so when the right time comes that I need to choose the best mom of the bride dresses, there would be no regrets!
