Being a mom of two girls, Halloween costumes have always been a challenging task for me. It’s not as easy as dolling them up or trying on a new hairstyle but it’s a task that requires creativity. The problems double up when you are out of the budget to buy ready-made costumes.
This year, I had to dig my closet and find dresses that could suit what I have been thinking to do for my girls. Inspired by the movie Annabelle, and the white dress that was outgrown by my eldest, I came up to make my 4 y/o dress up like Annabelle. I was so amazed by how it turned out. I, myself, couldn’t believe that I did a great job hahaha!
While my eldest was turned into a Japanese Doll. Thankful that I have enough make-ups and cosmetics to choose from.
She wore the Tsumori Chisato dress that I won over at a blog contest in 2011. I never thought it would be one of my daughters who would wear this dress first.
You see, Halloween costumes should not be expensive. Sometimes you just have to have time digging stuff and be amazed by how you can actually take the creativeness that you have within yourself.
Happy Halloween!!
