After watching ASAP, Deye told me “Mama, Happy Panatag Day!” Though I know she’s not sure what it means and she just copied what she heard from the said show, she really made my day.
She’s been hearing the words “Happy Mother’s Day” the whole day from TV and I was not surprised when she finally asked “Mama, what is Mother’s Day?” I, of course, explained her the way she’d understand it. And I think I gave her a good explanation coz she greeted me again an hour ago while I was putting her to sleep but that time it wasn’t “Happy Panatag Day!” anymore but “Mama, Happy Mother’s Day!”
Those sweet words coming from my 4 y/o daughter are more than enough.
