Then…. back in 1997 when I was still working in SBMA as Sec to the Asst. General Manager, I was given to handle a two way radio for communication. There were no mobile phones yet. Well, there were but they weren’t so in demand unlike now, where you can see everyone having a mobile phone of their own.
Now, data radio communication isn’t much needed. Mobile phones are available in the market for very low prices. At the same time, you can purchase very cheap sim cards anywhere. Even if you go for postpaids, there are affordable plans offered by network providers.
Looking back, I’d say it’s much better now. Communication is a lot easier and better.
