This was one of our 2009 summer weekends. Boss gave me two tickets, so I only had to pay for my daughter’s entrance fee which was Php295. However, I also spent around 2k for the taxi and food. Food and beverages are quite expensive there, but worth it.
If only the weather cooperated during my husband’s vacation 3 months ago, I would have taken him there. Maybe next time… There would be four of us by then…

A giant leap like this is such a challenging journey but indeed is rewarding. A few bumps along this whole journey did not stop me from being the best version of myself.
Oh yeah I saw the dolphins there and also the seals which perform tricks and get praised and applaused by the spectators. But there’s a part of me which feels guilty about it, because this creatures should out there in their habitat where they normally live, and not be used to earn funds. But there’s also a part of me which made me feel delighted by the smartness of these creatures.
It was a nice experience tho, spending the weekend with the dolphins in Ocean Adventure.

Hi AL! Yeah, they are really smart.
Hi Mommy Ebie! Yup, nakatsamba!
Hi Pacey! It’s here in Subic-SBMA (Olongapo). Hope you had a good weekend!
Hi Arlene! Yup, you can have an encounter with them and have a photo taken pero syempre may bayad, yang sa dolphin lang na two shots (we had another one na si bro ko naghawak sa dolphin), that costs around Php800. May package sila na pwede din with the sea lion kaso limited slot and I wasn’t lucky to have one kasi may mga nauna ng nagpareserved.
Deye enjoyed the show a lot!
