DHL Employee of the Year (EOY) 2010

A month ago, my husband gave me a good news that he was nominated as EOY for 2010. Was happy and proud of course but since it’s going to be a very tight competition, I, myself never expected that he’s going to bag the award. Though I know he deserves to be awarded, I just didn’t want to get disappointed, in case he does not get it.

Before coming here last month for his vacation, he mentioned that the awarding night has been moved to Feb 7 instead of January 28. I practically joked with him that maybe they’d adjusted the awarding night coz he won’t be there to receive his award as he’s here in the Philippines vacationing.

Monday, Feb 7, as soon as I got home from work, we gave him a call and wished him luck. I told him to give me a call as soon as the result is announced.

2am, our time, he called. I was right! He bagged the EOY for IQ. The said awards coer the whole DHL Middle East. Country wise, he’s the EOY Winner for IQ. So proud of our Dada! He truly deserves it!

I told him to send me the high reso photos of his solo shots so I can have them printed in laser printers later. A souvenir for a job well done!
