It’s a tradition for every Overseas Filipino Worker to bring pasalubong when it’s time for their vacation. From chocolates to shoes like Nike SB, toothpaste, bath soaps, lotion, cologne, perfume, they always matter and these items are often found in balikbayan boxes.
I remember when it was still my dad’s time in Saudi, he would always bring the above for the whole clan. Yeah, you read it right, for the whole clan. Until now, it’s still practiced in the family, err, in our clan.
