I started wearing prescription eyeglasses at the age of 16. No one is to be blamed but me. My mom would always tell me not to read books with dim lights, but the laziness in me would always strike. I would always turn the lights off and switch the night light on, and enjoy reading pocketbooks till I doze off.
As years pass by, my eyesight became poorer and poorer that I cannot even recognize people unless they are standing in front of me. I also tried wearing contact lens but they are just not for me. My eyes get irritated after an hour of wearing them that’s why I am sticking with my eyeglasses.
Now, at 34, my eye vision is at 450(R)-400(L). If only I could afford a laser procedure, I would.
