After the calamity that our place had experienced, our cooperative at work has thought of granting a loan to all the members so they can use the money to buy food stocks or anything that they need. But knowing our boss, he wouldn’t go and agree for loans coz he thinks you are not helping people by giving loans, instead you are teaching them to just depend on something which isn’t really helping.
So instead of granting us loans, he decided to give away gift certificates from Royal Duty Free worth Php4k for each employee. This way we can use the GCs to buy our needs without having to deduct anything from our salary.
Yesterday, I finally had the time to use the GCs, tagged my girls along with me, bought essentials, their snacks and my eldest daughter’s school snacks.
What a big help to us moms who purchase things in a budget! That amount could even save and prevent flooring for basement from leaks.
