Aside from finding the suitable hairstyle for Deye, I’ve been wanting to get rid of her dry and damaged hair. Since she’s still young and couldn’t have ay hair treatment, the only way I could think of is cut it very very short.
After a debate with her (yeah she does it with me and insists what she likes), my convincing power worked but I had to lie a bit, I told her that we will have it trimmed.
I spoke with her hairstylist as soon as we got to the salon and told him secretly what hairstyle I want for her. Cut… cut… cut… when she has finally seen herself in the mirror, she started crying. She cried a river over having a short haircut. I felt bad but I had to comfort her and tell her white lies.
On the way back home, we had a short conversation as usual:
Deye: Mama, sure ka ha hahaba din ang hair ko ulit?
Me: Syempre, look at bunso’s hair, mahaba na di ba?
Deye: Di bale pag sanay na ako, di na ako iiyak.
Few minutes later, she was okay and agreed to have a pictorial with me haha!
