While I was going through our closet, I found a couple of my husband’s set of clothes. These are matching tops and shorts that we bought in Bahrain years back. Since he gained weight, he hasn’t gotten the chance to wear these Thermal Clothing any longer. Instead of giving them away, I encourage him to go to gym, work out and be fit, that way two things are saved, his clothes and health, not to forget his continuous weight gain.
The same goes to myself. I also found a couple of my very first pre-pregnancy pair of jeans and some tops. It was not really intention to just keep them in my closet coz I know for sure even if I lose weight, it won’t be the same. A woman’s body tremendously changes after giving birth, but then, when I think of the money I spent over these clothes, I just can’t let go of them. Good thing I have two girls who can eventually use my clothes.Of course, I also try to maintain my built so I won’t have to buy clothes more frequently.
I do the same thing with my daughters. I kept the branded clothes that my eldest had, and now that my 1 y/o has grown bigger, she gets to wear her sister’s clothes. The clothes that my baby had were also kept in case I’d have another baby.
These days you got to be more practical and wise, otherwise you’d end up buying things frequently.
