I was never fond of buying gold in any form. May it be gold chains, bangles, and earrings. Aside from its expensive cost, I find it too formal to wear it unless somebody generous will insist and give me.
I remember an argument between me and my husband during our wedding prep. I insisted of getting silver set for our wedding rings but he refused to. He says that gold has more value when the right time comes.
So there, we both are wearing a gold wedding ring.
