It’s better to give than to receive.
Few days ago, someone sent me an email through my blog’s contact form. His approach was good enough to convince me. So I agreed to place his 125×125 banner here for free (you know how OC I get when it comes to my blog, I don’t like too much badges in my sidebars) and in my mind “why would I charge him for that when I don’t even do that kind of business in this blog“. But that somehow gave me the idea to do it in my other blog. Still, no charges but I requested him for an exchange link instead. That way, we are helping each other. (Now I have 2 more available ad spots in my other blog, but I still don’t know if I am going to sell the space for ads or not. Hmmm, it depends actually).
Yesterday, he emailed me again proposing for an online job – content writing for his blog – Paraiso Philippines. We both agreed that I do 3 articles a week. And the best part? I already received the payment heehee! Hang on a minute, the proposal does not end there. There’s another one. He’s working on an online project and it’ll be up and active very soon. The offer? I’ll blog about it soon….
Here are a few info about him > Mr. Jude de Guzman, a proud Pinoy based in Maryland, USA and currently affiliated with TFC-USA. He owns and manages RJ Cleaning and Restoration (USA) and Miki Restorations (Manila).
Then, this morning there was a comment in my blog that says:
I’m Jules and I work at bestrank.com, a company interested in blog advertizing. I found your blog engaging and I’m contacting you to ask if you are interested in blog post sponsorship. If you are interested, kindly mail back for confirmation (xxxxx@bestrank.com). Please include your blog’s URL. Looking forward to doing business with you.
Of course, I contacted him right away and got 3 assignments through email. I need to complete these posts within 3 days. Right now I have a total of 6 pending jobs to make + my other blog assignments. Really a blessing huh?
very nice. 😀
