I know, it’s not going to be an easy journey but it’s going to be worth it.
Towards the end of November, I realized I still didn’t get my period, but if it wasn’t for that, I wouldn’t think I am pregnant ‘coz there were no signs and uneasy feeling, not even cravings, at all.
So I bought 2 home pregnancy kits and went ahead with the first kit the next morning. Repeated the test yesterday morning just to make sure. Feeling first timer ang pakiramdam ko while waiting haha! Imagine, after 10 years of waiting, it’s now happening, unexpectedly, probably because of my condition na din, kaya naman sobrang surprised sa two lines.
To those who are not aware, I have this adenomyosis condition, a retroverted uterus, and ovarian cysts for the past 8 years now, and have been under medication in between. During the ultrasound yesterday, a small sized myoma was also found, along with the cyst (thankful na isa na lang siya ngayon sa right ovary, dati kasi magkabilaan) and the adenomyosis which still exists.
Twice I’ve considered having my uterus removed but for some “obvious reasons” I never went ahead and settled with a final decision, maybe because there’s another little one assigned to me.
Being pregnant at 43 is a high risky one, so here’s hoping and praying that everything will go smoothly, and claiming this baby “OURS”. As early as now, I was advised to follow a strict diet, no rice, pasta, bread etc. that is, and to watch my BP regularly. I don’t know but when I was being checked, my BP went up to 130/80. Excited lang maybe?
So there, pregnancy updates mode on this blog!
