When I grow up…

Peculiar but I’m one of those few kids who didn’t find people in nursing uniforms attractive. When I was a kid, I would always answer “I wanna be like those who wear hard hats” or simply “gusto ko yung umaakyat sa building”. I didn’t even have the idea what that profession was called until my mom told me that they are called Engineers, Civil Engineers to be exact.

Unfortunately, I didn’t pursue that ambition! Even when I was already approaching college, that idea didn’t sink in. My interest suddenly got diverted to arts or drawings. I desperately wanted to be a fine artist or an architect but somehow I was discouraged when people close to me said that it’s a tough job. Just to give in to “drawing” I decided to take up BS Industrial Engineering not knowing it only has two subjects of drawing for the entire course. Oh well, that doesn’t matter now! I still didn’t finish that course due to financial constraints that time.

In case you still don’t know, I’m doing a Marketing job since last year. So connected di ba? LOL!

From being an ex-OFW to doing what I am good at in the comfort of my own home – while taking good care of my 3 wonderful kids, I hope that people see me as a great inspiration when it comes to pursuing my passion and turning it into a profitable venture.

A giant leap like this is such a challenging journey but indeed is rewarding. A few bumps along this whole journey did not stop me from being the best version of myself.
