Because of Typhoon Maring, my kids’ school had its late celebration of Buwan ng Wika. Last Saturday, they finally able to show off their dances, specially prepared for us, parents.
Ishi, from Nursery 2 learners danced to the tune of Itik Itik. However, introductory dance was a surprise to us! A gummy bear dance while they were on their baro’t saya. We learned that these songs make our little learners active and cooperative, thus, the reason they played this first.
There’s my little girl, in her cream and blue kimona’t saya.
While Deye, my Grade 3 learner performed an Igorot Dance. Again, I had put so much effort accessorizing and dressing her up.
You see, when you collect so much accessories, they just come handy and you’d thankful that you did collect them haha! Okay, now that’s a very good excuse!
