It’s not even over a month since I was admitted in the hospital (due to cerumen extraction) last, here I am, again spending nights in a hospital bed.
The day I was discharged the first time, I had been nursing a 39 fever which was unexplainable. When I checked with my doctor, he says that if it was due to infection, fever should only last about 48 hours. In my case, it has been on and off with back pain on my right waist.
Since I got busy recovering and helping my cousin out, I just ignored it but the pain never went.
Monday, March 12, I did not report for work as I felt feverish again and the pain gets stronger. I, then went for a check up and had some laboratory tests like ultrasound, urinalysis etc. Findings were kidney stones, thus, causing pain on my back.
I was given an injection for pain relief but it did not work so the doctor advised that I get admitted so we can monitor the medicines through an IV, until the pain completely goes.
